This kit is designed to be ordered in conjunction with a genetic culture (sold separately). When you purchase this kit ALONG WITH a genetic culture, you will have ALL the materials and supplies needed to grow mushrooms as quickly and easily as possible

BASIC INSTRUCTIONS

1. Order both this grow kit AND GENETICS

2. After receiving the kit, read through the included instruction manual to familiarize yourself with the growing process

3. Begin by hydrating and sterilizing the colonization medium (jar full of grain)

4. Inoculate the sterilized jar of grain with mushroom genetics (sold separately)

5. Wait 2-4 weeks for the jar to colonize (see instruction manual for more information on ideal growing conditions for this stage)

6. Hydrate and pasteurize the fruiting medium (bag of soil-like medium)

7. Mix the pasteurized fruiting medium with a genetic culture in the growing container provided, and place in a dark area for about one week (see instruction manual for more information on ideal growing conditions for this stage)

5. Bring the growing container into a well lit area and increase humidity (using the materials provided in the kit)(see instruction manual). After about 1 week in these conditions mushrooms will begin to grow!
